Age restriction: 18+ (16 & 17 with parental permission).
Some dates fall on holidays. Unless MUD announces a closure, this class still meets as scheduled because clay changes from week to week; keeping the weekly rhythm lets students trim, finish, and fire work while pieces are at the right stage.
Please note:
MUD does not offer make-up classes for missed sessions, including absences due to illness, travel, or personal scheduling conflicts. Our classes follow a structured curriculum, and missed instruction cannot be rescheduled. Please review all class dates before enrolling to make sure you can attend each session.
Bisque firing is included. Optional glaze firing for finished take-home work is $3 per pound.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, MUD Ceramics Studio remains open for classes unless a Travel Advisory recommends suspending non-essential travel.
Students who are unable to complete their glazing during class should plan for an additional five-week timeline. Three weeks after the course ends, students may return to glaze any unfinished pieces. Completed work will be ready for final pick-up two weeks after the glazing appointment. Glazing appointments are offered as a courtesy and cannot be rescheduled.
Courtesy glazing appointment: October 12, 2026
Final pick-up: October 26, 2026
